Believe it or not, I'm actually posting on the correct day-about events that happened TODAY! It's so good to have my blog caught up :)
Just a little running update. I had a lot of success running up in Michigan-I think the cooler/drier weather helped A LOT. On Friday I actually ran 4 miles! It took me 50 minutes and 7 seconds. I wanted to do it in under 50 minutes...SO CLOSE!
Today I ran as well...I wanted to go 3 miles, but shortly after 2 miles I started to get a bit dizzy...I think I was pretty dehydrated-didn't drink much yesterday...so I walked the last mile. I DID run up the big hill, and I DID run at a 12 min. mile pace-which, believe it or not, is faster than I was running in Michigan (12 1/2 min mile pace...) so it wasn't a complete loss. The race is this Saturday, so this week I have to make sure I get all my runs in.
My plan?
Monday-run 3
Tuesday-off
Wednesday-run 3 1/2
Thursday-run 2
Friday-Eat Pasta :) Actually...Friday is Chicken, Rice & Beans day...
Then Saturday the race is at 8 am. My goal is to run it at a 12 min. mile pace. We'll see!
Oh yeah...I'm gonna try & eat right this week too...Last week I ate my weight in hostess cupcakes, so I gotta eat better this week :)
