We're still here...

...we've just been busy :) Eli has moved into his 'big boy bed'...sort of. The mattress is just on the floor, but we wanted him to be out of his crib for a while before the baby came. SO, when we came back from Michigan he went right to his bed. He loves it! This is him after his first night :)
He loves that he can get out himself. He usually plays in his room for a while in the morning before I go get him. He also enjoys playing in his room before his nap...although he's not really SUPPOSE to do that. The other day I put him down at 1, and he played in there until 3. Then he fell asleep until 4:30. I don't mind him playing as long as he stays in there...and if he takes a nap too, even better :)

Ben & Carly got baptized.

Jennifer also did a post about this (Which you can see HERE). It was very neat. Unfortunately, Eli wanted to get into the water so bad, that he was screaming the whole time, so I really didn't get to see much-I had to walk away with Eli :( Edgar video taped it, though, so I can watch it over and over if I want :)

Our kitchen is coming along wonderfully. The cabinets are in.

The refrigerator has finally moved out of the dining room. (honestly...I kind of miss having it in the dining room at dinner time...I got kind of used to it)

The granite came today and has been installed... ...and everyone rejoiced... :)

Eli is enjoying the new kitchen.

We still have to do the tile, but that is going to have to wait for a little while. We need to get the baby's room taken care of next.

I have big plans for a 'before and after' post, but I'm debating whether to do that now or wait until the tile comes in...that might be a while, though. Maybe I'll do a 'before and almost after' post...I know you all are just dying to see what the kitchen looks like :)

We had so much fun! We've been back now for over a week...I've taken a few pictures this week, so I'll try and post those soon. Can't wait to go back to Michigan! Although...next time the grass will be considerably less green, and we'll be complaining about the COLD, not the heat :)

I've been terrible the last two weeks about updating...I'm home...lots to share about our trip and all the hard work Edgar has done...I've been spending the last few evenings going through the pictures from the trip. I will never be able to do a post everything that we did, so as I go through the pictures and edit a few, I figured I'd just put some of my favorites as I come across them. I will be loading the rest up to walmart.com (sorry Jenny) and I'll send those out. Anyway...here are a couple of pictures from the trip. There's really no rhyme or reason or order...just a couple pictures I ran across that I like :) Peek-a-boo! This was taken at the campground we went to over the weekend of the 4th...Eli had just had some ice cream...I think he's happy :)
