Well...I was in the mood for a mess...so we made spaghetti for dinner :) It's the first time I've made it for Eli, and it was pretty fun to watch him enjoy it.

Ryan and Jennifer got us this really cool cutting board/knife thing (she told me the name...but I don't remember it) and I'm pretty sure it's not for cutting up your baby's food, but it worked SO well! That knife is super sharp, and was way easier than using a regular knife :) Plus I felt cool using it, and that's what is really important.

Here's Eli's tray. So I realized when I put it on his tray that I had put WAY too much food on it, but oh well.

'Ummm...mom....do I
really get to play with this?!'

'Not too bad!'

'What? Something on my face?'

'I'm
savin' it for later!'
And where, do you suppose, we went
right after dinner?

The tub! Finally clean...though I'm pretty sure there was plenty of spaghetti in the tub with him when all was said and done.

'
Ahhhh! That's better!'

'
Whadda mean I have to go to bed now?'
Hope you ate something good for dinner :)

just be glad that he doesn't play with his hair during eating time....keira almost always has sticky gooey hair that looks like i put too much gel in it. yogurt, spaghetti, pudding, oatmeal, banana, applesauce...need i say more? cute pics
It's an Ulu knife... Thanks for watching those cats!! Hardly worth the knife, I'm sure!
Yumm, spaghetti! Do you ever eat at Crispers? We did today & got Leighton the Butternut Squash Soup. He practically DRANK it all up! Whoa, I'm talking he DEVOURED the stuff.
Oh, do you have any outgrown 6-12 months zipper sleepers? I know Eli is bigger than Leighton, so...your PJ pic made me realize we need some jammies.
