11.14.2011 Playing with Isaac & Ethan

The other day Isaac & Ethan came over to play for the afternoon. Issac and Eli played out on the back porch most of the time.
I think they had a ton of fun.

I don't think Isaac stopped moving the whole time he was here :)

Leah got in on some of the fun too.

Gotta love all of those teeth! (5 new teeth in 2 weeks!)

Fighting over the toys...I'm sure I NEVER did that with my brothers and sisters.

Eli and Isaac always have so much fun hanging out together!

Ethan slept most of the time, so I didn't get any pictures of him :( He's getting so big! Next time I see him I'll have to be sure to snap some pictures of him :)

11.11.2011 Eli's Birthday Party

If you know Eli, you know he loves Lightning McQueen...so we had to celebrate his birthday by decorating with Lightning and Mater :)
Eli had a blast opening all of his presents.

I think Leah enjoyed it too :)

Eli got load of very fun toys...he hasn't stopped playing with them since his party :)

He didn't have a bite of his cupcake. He wanted to go play with his toys.

I got this sparkler...it was in the shape of a '3'...it didn't really burn the way I thought it would...

...but the kids seemed to like it :)

Everyone was exhausted at the end of the evening :)

10.29.2011 Fall Festival

The Saturday of our church's fall festival Eli woke up pulling his ear like crazy, so we ran to the doctor, and he did indeed have an ear infection. Then I ran 11 miles back home...horrible, long, hot run, but I got it over with. Then I spent the rest of the afternoon finishing up the kids' costumes. Leah was Pebbles...

Eli was Bam Bam. I tried to convince Edgar to dress up like Fred, but he wasn't up for it.

The kids had a lot of fun playing at all of the games that the church had set up.

This was Leah's favorite spot. She was SOAKED by the time she was done...but she was happy.

At the end of the event our church put on a 'Bluegrass Musical'...they did 'Fiddler on the Roof'...bluegrass style. Very entertaining.

10.23.2011 Pumpkin Patch

Because it's fall, and because it's cute we went to a pumpkin patch again this year :) The same one as last year...scratch that. We didn't go to one last year...it was the same one we went to two years ago :) Leah picking out her pumpkin.
She found one she liked :)

10.20.2011 Fun

A friend of ours from church gave us this cardboard house for the kids. They have been loving it (and so far have only slightly damaged it...) Leah enjoys playing with the door...and getting inside and pushing it around while she walks. Kinda funny to sit in the family room and watch a house move around 'magically'.
Edgar can fit in there too :) Pretty sure I can't. Well...I could probably fit, but I don't know that I would be able to get out.

And seriously...why don't my kids have pants on? They usually have pants on...

(This is obviously from a different day...because Leah has pants on...)

Leah also enjoys playing with her daddy's running hat.

She thinks she's so funny! (And she's right!)

'Ummmm...Where'd everybody go?!'

Funny that she loves wearing daddy's hat, but I can't keep HER hats on her...guess she's just picky like that.

10.16.2011 A New Park

One day when I was running I noticed a new park about 3/4 mile away from our house. So we had to check it out! It's a really nice park. It has a bunch of musical instruments throughout for the kids to play on.
Not sure Leah liked the swing...Eli did. But he loves any swing.

These little things are always fun.

I think my favorite part about this park is that it is all fenced in. That's SO nice when you've got two kids and one mom :)

My happy girl! Who apparently needs a bib...and some 'girl' sneakers. She is wearing an old pair of Eli's...I keep meaning to get her some sneakers...But you know my dislike of shopping...

Most days Eli is just as content to play with a stick :)

We took a little bit of the park home with us :)
