6.24.2012 Circus cookies

Recently Krista and I went in together to create a 'party package' for a silent auction that my church put on for a friend adopting a little girl from China.  The person that won the auction wanted cookies for a 'Circus' Birthday party for twin boys.  I didn't get a good picture of the cake (It was AWESOME-Krista did yet another amazing job) but I did take a few of the cookies.

These were super fun to make, and actually pretty easy to do. 

 I have quite a list of cookies that I need to do...including cookies for my dear niece Chloe...I'm a little behind...

6.18.2012 Aquarium

Edgar was able to take the day off, so we packed a lunch and headed for the Aquarium.

 As we walked in they had the penguins in the front lobby.  Leah got an up close and personal look at these cute little guys.

 If you've ever been to this Aquarium you've had a picture taken in these shells.  Leah wanted to get a picture with her daddy :)

 The blur in this picture couldn't be avoided.  As soon as the kids heard the music and saw the lights, they just HAD to dance!

 After we were done inside we got our suits on and went to the splash area outside.  (grabbed the wrong suit for Leah..it's a little small on her...)

So fun to watch Eli climb stuff like this.  Just a reminder that he's getting older...and braver.  I remember a year ago all he wanted to do was play in the sand area.

We had such a wonderful time together.  I think daddy needs to take more days off to play with us ;)  And that's exactly the plan this summer!  :)

6.8.2012 The Last Day of School!

I think Leilani was about the most excited person in Florida for the last day of school-she is finally a stay-at-home mom :)  I watched Isaac & Ethan on the last day of school, so Krista came over to hang out.  We decided that such a big day NEEDS cupcakes :)

 This is Eli's cupcake.  If you can't tell, those are Lightning McQueen and Mater sprinkles.  Big surprise...

Everyone came over for dinner, so while dinner preparations were being made, the kiddos tried out our new Elefun game.  They loved it-they giggled and ran around the whole time.  Katie was the only one that actually caught the butterflies (butterflied shoot out of the elephant's nose...) but they all had fun.

Congratulations, Leilani!  Now the real fun begins!!

6.7.2012 Babysitting Katie & Jacob

When Krista needed a root canal, I was happy to come over and hang out with her kiddos.

 Jacob is getting so big!  When he's laying down, he works so hard to sit up :)

 Katie is such a good big sister-she loves taking care of her brother, and giving him kisses :)

 He sat on his own...it was for about a half of a second, but still :)

 I kept trying to get Eli to give him a kiss, but he would just get (really) close to his face.  I don't think Jacob really knows what to think of his cousin :)

6.4.2012 Cousin fun

Just a few pictures from a Monday with Isaac and Ethan.

 Eli took a special interest in Ethan this visit.

 Isaac wanted some camera time too :)  He saw me taking pictures of his brother, and he ran in front of the camera saying 'CHEESE!' 

 Leah and Isaac are so funny together-they play all day together.  Here Leah has decided to give Isaac a 'ride'.

 She really got the rocking chair going!  (Notice my little 'Ethan barrier?'  This helps keep that little guy from climbing up the steps.  He is a mover!)

These two are trouble :)  Actually, they are very fun together, and really no trouble at all!

6.3.2012 Gator Cookies

This'll be quick...just wanted to post my last project.

 These pictures aren't the best...I took them pretty quick this morning before I packed them up, but I wanted to snap a couple of pictures.  Apparently I should have brushed off the cookies crumbs that were on the gator's face.  When Eli saw these, he said 'It's a dragon!'  Close...

I made these for a friend whose son's teacher is a big Gator's fan.  They aren't perfect, but I was pretty pleased with them.

Too bad she's not a Michigan fan.  Those would have been WAY easier :)
