I am certain Jennifer will be posting about today's events very soon, but I thought I'd post some of the pictures from today as well. I had some trouble with pictures (which I didn't realize until I got home...I still need to work on indoor shots...) so the pictures aren't great, but BEN did amazing today. It was such a pleasure to watch him go!
Ben, amidst the crowd of much older kids. He was the youngest kid I saw today. He got asked to swim with the high school boys-they needed another person for their relay. This was the state championship meet. It was a pretty big honor for him to be asked.
This was the facility where the meet took place. It was pretty impressive. The pool right there in front is the warm up pool...

Eli had a great time just watching. He was SO good the whole time. He was pretty mesmerized by the kids swimming back and forth.

I think this pictures kinda funny...you can see Ben with the other 3 guys he swam with...they are literally head and shoulders taller than him :) He didn't seem the least bit intimidated.

He swam so well! I'm not sure of his official time, but it was right around his personal best. We were so excited for him!
You can see the team's time-4:03:91. They didn't win, but we were so proud of how hard they did swim. Those boys are SO fast! Ben was amazingly calm throughout (at least I thought he was :) )
