This was one of my baking projects. I made petit fours the other day for a mommy group gathering thing. They were good, though a little messy. (I got the idea from one of my favorite blogs) I don't think I added enough powdered sugar, and the icing wasn't as stiff as I would have liked. Oh well. They got eaten. I also made cupcakes for Miggy's birthday, which you can read about here. I snagged a couple of those, but fortunately left the rest for them. I don't think Edgar and I can have any more sweets for a while...well...except for my ice cream cone every night after supper...
Don't you just love how Eli has this whole big crib, yet chooses to sleep all snuggled up in the corner? He's the best. I was just looking through my journal today reading entries from when I was pregnant. It was kind of funny...all the things I was so worried about. God has truly blessed us with an amazing son. Edgar and I talk all the time about how easy it has been with him! Even yesterday when he was throwing up (again Ryan, sorry 'bout that) he was happy-in between 'episodes'. (No need to worry, he was fine. Pretty sure it was just a teething 'thing.' No fever, no 'illness'...just a whole lot of spit he needed to expel :) )Tomorrow he gets to go to his first baseball game. We're so excited! He's been practicing clapping all day :) GO RAYS! (Unless the Tiger's are in town, of course)
